The Johan Cruyff Institute and DIR, the leading chain of gyms in Barcelona, have signed a collaboration agreement under which both entities will benefit from special conditions. DIR is the first fitness company to join the Johan Cruyff Institute‘s portfolio of partner organizations and the agreement will allow all the company’s staff to benefit from special conditions in all of our sport marketing and sport management programs. Meanwhile, Johan Cruyff Institute employees and current and former students will receive more than 50% discount on DIR membership that will allow them to access all their clubs, with no time limit, with towel included and with access to the outdoor and indoor paddle courts.
One of the objectives of the agreement is the transfer of talent and knowledge between both institutions. Hence, the granting of scholarships or study aids and the joint organization of activities, such as master classes, visits to facilities and conferences, are also part of the agreement.
The fitness chain, with more than 30 years of business experience, 20 clubs in Barcelona and Sant Cugat del Vallès and 80,000 members, will also offer internships for Johan Cruyff Institute students, so that they can apply their knowledge by collaborating with a pioneering company in Barcelona in promoting sport and a healthy lifestyle and that offers the latest innovations in fitness, wellness and health.
