Johan Cruyff Institute will be taking part in the third edition of the Galicia Sportech Congress, an event focused on sharing knowledge about the influence of technology in the sports industry. The congress will take place at the Faculty of Education and Sport Sciences of Pontevedra from June 12 to 14, with the first day online and the following two days in person.
José Luis Beltrán, professor of our Digital Transformation and Revenue Generation course and current digital product manager at FC Barcelona, will give a presentation on digital transformation in sport on June 13, from 10:45 to 11.30 a.m.
With a degree in computer systems engineering from the UAB and a master’s degree in digital marketing and e-commerce from EAE, José Luis Beltrán has been working at FC Barcelona for eight years and, among his functions, is the management of ticketing and commercial development of the Barça Experiences spaces.
FC Barcelona is carrying out the most exciting project in the club’s history, the new Espai Barça, which has been designed to become the largest and most innovative sports and entertainment space in a European city. The digital transformation of the club is one of the main priorities of the project, together with the fan experience, so José Luis Beltrán’s contribution will be of great value for those attending the congress.
