ESADE Business School and FC Barcelona join to launch a new academic product, of which Johan Cruyff Institute will be a part as a specialized partner with almost 20 years’ experience in Sport Management education. The ‘Executive Master in Global Sport Management’ program will start in June 2018 and will be aimed at senior managers and professionals in the sports sector, who want to acquire knowledge and new skills in sport management, marketing, sponsorship and communication.
The 11-month course will be launched through the Barça Innovation Hub platform and will consist of a mixed online program (in three periods) and on-campus modules in Miami, Buenos Aires, Bogotá, Santiago de Chile and Barcelona, where it is expected to arrive in May 2019.
The student profile for this Master is that of senior executives and managers of federations, sports clubs, professional leagues and other organizations linked to the world of sports, mainly Spanish-speaking, and the degree they will receive at the end of the program will be ‘Executive Master in Global Sport Management’ by ESADE.
The Barça Innovation Hub is again relying the Johan Cruyff Institute to provide high quality content, reinforcing an alliance that was born this year with the first edition of the ‘Master in Football Business in partnership with FC Barcelona’, which combines classes taught at the Camp Nou with sessions at the facilities of the Johan Cruyff Institute in Barcelona.

The main objective of the Master in Football Business in partnership with FC Barcelona is to educate with in-depth and up-to-date knowledge and insights from the football industry. Students will analyze the core theories and relevant case studies that will help them visualize the behavior of the football business. Students will also have the opportunity to learn, interact and contribute with FC Barcelona business strategy and operations.
